POPULAR baker Greggs has asked for permission to build a drive-thru facility in the Great Western Retail Park.
Planning permission has been submitted to Glasgow City Council to build the new restaurant which will include an outdoor seating area.
The premises is expected to open seven days a week, 5 am to midnight if the plans are approved.
The area where the facility is to be built is currently a car park to retailers in the park.
A decision is expected to be made by May 29.
