Nine residents have died in a care home in Clydebank with suspected coronavirus, as another 16 display symptoms.

All of the deaths occurred since the start of April at Hill View nursing home, the BBC reported.

Those with symptoms are being "barrier nursed" by staff at the West Dumbartonshire home which houses 127 people.

In addition to the sixteen displaying symptoms of COVID-19, one more resident has tested positive.

Operators Advinia said the deaths all occurred in the home.
