City of Glasgow Wind Orchestra have been using inventive ways to keep occupied during lockdown, creating a isolation performance of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' hit song Uptown Funk.
The musical outfit created the performance after shows had been cancelled, with conductor Martin Thomson revealing that the group had 5 shows that would have went ahead in the coming weeks.
He said: "We had all these shows planned and then suddenly they're cancelled.
"So we decided we'd put it together, Uptown Funk is our encore song so it was already in our repertoire."
The process itself took quite some time, with the editing of the video alone taking up to 7 hours to finish.
Martin said: "It is quite time consuming, we had to get everyone to film their own part because we're all in isolation and some people did it in one take, others took a few more.
"Not everyone is in the video and more would like to get involved so we're looking at doing it again with another song.
The orchestra have been using the performance as a way to keep a smile on people's facing while in lockdown, saying that there is always time for music.
"It's a bit of fun and an escape for people, we're bringing a little bit of joy to people. it's a way of keeping music going during these times."
