Four men were fined after they were stopped by police on the M6 on Saturday morning.
They were issued tickets for breaching coronavirus regulations after being caught on a return journey from London to Glasgow.
The four men had travelled down to London for a family gathering, the trip would have seen them travel 800 miles for the non-essential journey.
Cumbria Roads Police stopped their vehicle on the M6 at Penrith.
