STUDENTS at Glasgow University raised thousands for Glasgow Women's Aid at the Charity Fashion Show.
Held at SWG3, the show raised £43,047.54 which will create a post in Crisis Support services, and is estimated to help support around 8000 people.
Angela Devine from Glasgow Women’s Aid said: “We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the GUCFS team and the students at Glasgow University.
"The sum of the donation and the response of those who attended really is a testament to brilliant work of those students involved.”
The GUCFS said: "‘GUCFS would like to thank every person who supported our fundraisers and attended our events, or even just engaged with us on our social media platforms; thank you for helping us raise the funds and awareness we have for Glasgow Women's Aid.
"Our biggest thank you goes to Glasgow Women's Aid.

"The work they do safeguarding and supporting women, young people and children in and around Glasgow has never been more critical in this period of lockdown.
"On behalf of every member of GUCFS, thank you and see you next year!’
GUCFS is Glasgow’s largest student-run event and continues to grow each year.
Their sixth annual show pushed GUCFS' creative and innovative boundaries, being held over two nights in SWG3.
Highlights of the show included a Glasgow Women’s Aid exhibition room, a raffle including a Spice Girl’s jacket and international DJ SLAM playing the Friday after party.
Glasgow Women’s Aid services and helplines are still open.
