MERCHANT city lunch favourite Sprigg will reopen a delivery service after appearing on The Glasgow Pantry this week.
Sprigg chef launched the service with a live cook-a-long this week by chef Colin Anderson on The Glasgow Pantry.
The Glasgow Pantry was launched in early April 2020 to support the city’s favourite food and drink businesses during self-isolation.
Speaking of the collaboration and launch, Sprigg founder, Tom McDermott said:
“I’m delighted with the opportunity to work with The Glasgow Pantry.
"The platform and content so far has been fantastic.
"It’s an example of the amazing response and positive attitude of Glasgow’s small businesses community and their employees during the lockdown.
"I’m really proud and lucky to have such a talented team that is full of personality at Sprigg, and this link up celebrates that perfectly.
"It also gives Colin a great chance to blow the cobwebs away ahead of the launching of Sprigg Delivered next week”.
Nicola Moir, Co-founder Atomic10 which runs The Glasgow Pantry, added:
“Our vision is to help Glasgow stay connected with their favourite businesses from their kitchen.
"Self-isolation can be lonely and we hope we can support each other through lockdown with The Glasgow Pantry online community and social channels with some much-needed light relief.
It’s fantastic to see businesses like Sprigg adapt and re-open."
