A MAN is accused of assaulting a male to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement at a road junction.
Brian Burrell, 34, allegedly attacked Derek Low on Glasgow’s Dumbarton Road last September.
Prosecutors claim Burrell repeatedly punched Mr Low on the head causing him to fall to the ground.
It is said Burrell struck Mr Low’s head with his knee which caused it to strike a pedestrian railing.

Burrell then allegedly kicked Mr Low on the head which rendered him unconscious.
He is then claimed to have stamped on and repeatedly punched his head.
A hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court was postponed today due to the coronavirus outbreak.
No plea has been entered by Burrell and the case was dealt with administratively.
A new hearing date is set for July this year and Burrell of the city’s Drumchapel remains on bail meantime.
