FORMER CELTIC and Ireland striker Anthony Stokes is to stand trial accused of driving a car without an MOT.
Stokes, 31, was allegedly snared driving an Audi A4 near his home in Glasgow’s Finnieston area last December.
Prosecutors claim Stokes “used a motor vehicle in respect of which no test certificate had been issued.”
A hearing at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court was postponed today due to the coronavirus outbreak.
A new trial date has been fixed for July this year and Stokes remains on bail meantime.
