A FIRE which destroyed a Toryglen flat was not suspicious, police have said.
The force have now reopened Ardenhoe Avenue following the dramatic blaze which happened on Tuesday evening.
Several people were evacuated from their homes in the block of flats after a 999 call raised the alarm.
Police have no said no one was injured and the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
But dramatic images from the scene show the extent of damage left by the blaze.
At its height, three crews attended the scene to tackle the fire.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 4.50 pm on Tuesday, May 19, police and emergency services were called to a report of a fire at a flat in Ardenhoe Ave, Toryglen, Glasgow.
"No one injured and residents evacuated as a precaution.
"Fire extinguished by fire service. Fire does not appear to be suspicious."
