VIOLENT thugs chopped part of a woman's finger off after she challenged them during a botched home raid in Bishopbriggs.
Cops are now hunting for the masked gang who were armed with a machete when they targeted a property in Lunan Drive on Friday night.
The 43-year-old victim was in the house with four members of her family when the masked men entered.

They threatened the woman with a knife in order to get her to hand over the property.
When she challenged them, she sustained her injury.
A post circulated Facebook to make locals aware of the incident. It said the men were carrying a machete and chopped off the top of the woman's finger during the robbery.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 10.30 pm on Friday, 29 May, 2020 a 43-year-old woman was within a house in Lunan Drive, Bishopbriggs along with four family members when a masked man entered the house.
“He threatened the woman with a knife and made demands for property.
“The 43-year-old woman challenged the suspect and sustained a cut to her finger.
The suspect then left the house empty-handed and was last seen running down a lane adjacent to the property from Lunan Drive towards Letham Drive.
"Enquiries are continuing."
