A MAN has been taken to hospital after an alleged disturbance in a close in the city's South Side.
Police were called to Tulloch Street in Cathcart on Monday night following the alleged incident.
A 30-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Police said he was seriously assaulted and provided no further details of his injuries.
He remained overnight for observation.

Police meanwhile sealed off the street as they began their investigation into the incident.
The force confirmed a 47-year-old man has been arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 10.10 pm on Monday, June 1 we were called to reports of a disturbance within a common close on Tulloch Street.
“Officers attended and a 30-year-old man was found to have been seriously assaulted.
"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment where he remained overnight for observation.
“A 47-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are ongoing.”
