First Bus have launched an app that will enable people across the city to travel safely throughout the pandemic.
The app will allow customers to live track the location of their next bus as well as being able to see see how many commuters are already on the vehicle.
The operator hopes it will reduce uncertainty for Glaswegians throughout the pandemic and aims to allow them to make informed decisions about their journeys.

In offering further support for social distancing on vehicles, seats on First Bus busses are now clearly marked indicating where customers should sit.
Andrew Jarvis, Managing Director of First Glasgow, said “We are really proud to have been able to fast-track this technology to ensure safe, informed travel during these difficult times.
"Our buses provide an essential service for our customers and we are doing all we can to support them.”
