A city-centre bar has been vandalised for the second time since lockdown began in March.

The window Tabac on Mitchell Lane was smashed overnight, despite signs stating that there was no stock or cash inside the premises.

The bar shared their disappointment in a Facebook post as the venue has already been struggling with a lack of income due Covid-19 restrictions.

Police Scotland was alerted to the damage around 10am on Sunday.

A Facebook post reads: "Second break-in since the start of lockdown. Talk about kicking a business while they are down.

"We have put signs to let people know that all cash and stock have been removed from the premises yet they still break-in(and leave with nothing).

Glasgow Times:

"We, on the other hand, get left with a broken window and a huge bill to pay while generating zero money."
