A SOUTHSIDE high school has paid tribute to two pupils who suddenly passed away.
Staff at Lourdes Secondary School, in Cardonald, confirmed the sad news with "deep regret" earlier today.
Headteacher Gerry McGuigan led the tributes in a post on the school's social media channels.
Mr McGuigan wrote: "It is with deep regret that I inform you that 2 pupils from our school community have sadly passed away.

Staff at Rosshall Academy were among those to also share their messages of support for pupils, writing: "Our sincere condolences to the families and to your school community.
"We are aware that some of our young people knew the pupils well and we are here to support everyone in any way we can."
While staff from Hyndland Secondary added: "Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs."
