A HUGE police presence is currently dominating George Square as Loyalists demonstrated in the city's civic centre immediately before a rally in support of evicted asylum seekers.
Angry scenes have broken out as the National Defence League turned out in order to "protect the Cenotaph", although the far right group did not say what it was protecting the war memorial from.

Glasgow No Evictions is also in the city centre.
The group said it plans to hold a "peaceful demonstration" for those who have been "refused food in hotels" and forced into the street.
In a post on social media, organisers from the NDL wrote: "Another attempt by the extreme left’s rent a mob Antifa to bring division and anarchy to this countries [SIC] streets.
"While the politicians sit idly by and the police have their hands tied by the powers that be.
"It will again fall on the Glaswegian public to make the stand."
