Glasgow hairdresser Taylor Ferguson has called on industry regulators to 'exert pressure' on the Scottish Government after today's phase two announcement failed to confirm when businesses will be able to re-open.
Nicola Sturgeon announced that most shops will be able to re-open from June 29 but hairdressers will have to remain shut.
The Scottish government has generally been taking a more cautious approach to opening up the economy again than the UK government has in England.

West End hair salon Ellen Conlin had said it was hopeful businesses who were well prepared might be able to open from June 30.
Mr Ferguson said today he was disappointed that businesses had not been offered a 'glimmer of hope.'
He said: "Is there any sector other than ours that affects so many people?
"Just a mention of a potential date would have been a help. A glimmer of hope.
"Just a date to give us something to work towards, something to feel positive about, something to give our teams a goal to look forward to and a date to allow our clients to start booking in for their post-lockdown haircare. We just hoped for some hope!
"Let's hope the National Hair & Beauty Federation might be able to exert some pressure."
