Sports Direct have bizarrely claimed they are to sell Rangers' new club kit exclusively in their stores.
Gers officially unveiled their new Castore home strip earlier today with fans able to pre-order the merchandise via the brand's website and club channels.
However, on social media, Sports Direct - who have been embroiled in ongoing legal battles with the club - have strangely said they will have 'EXCLUSIVE' rights to sell the Light Blues' kit on August 1.
Sharing a photo of the club crest alongside a list of Gers' title-winning seasons, they wrote: "Next up 2021, and stopping Celtic getting ten in a row. Be prepared for the biggest season in a decade. New Rangers kit lands exclusively at Sports Direct 1st August."
Fans were left confused by the post and took to social media to outline concerns. One said: "Rangers and Castore need to clarify the situation with Sports Direct, and clarify it really quickly." Another added: "I don't like this Sports Direct thing."
We told recently how Rangers claimed their Castore deal ushered in a 'clean slate' following their legal issues with Sports Direct and Mike Ashley.
