A city restaurant owner is bidding to transform a West End convenience store into a cafe.
It's understood the premises of former Scotfresh on Kirklee Road is currently vacant.
Billy McAneney, who owns The Baby Grand in Elmbank Gardens, has lodged the transformation plans to the local authority.
He is bidding for the former convenience store include an alcohol license with external seating areas and customer use of a public footpath.
The plans for the cafe along Kirklee Road aim to hold 37 internal covers and two outside seating areas - one facing Great Western Road and the other Kirklee Road.
