Celtic are monitoring the progress of Hajduk Split left-back David Colina, according to reports.
The Croatian defender has reportedly been the subject of a bid from Neil Lennon's men that could be worth around 3million Euros. Local reports in Index Sport claim the Split, however, want double what the Hoops have offered for their player.
Colina, 20, played 23 times for Hajduk Split last season in all competitions where he provided just one assist. He has represented Croatia at international level in their youth squads. He has 23 caps for under-17s, two caps at under-18s and 16 appearances with their under-19s.
Current Celtic left-back Greg Taylor has been impressive for the Glasgow side in recent times, his form earned him the number one spot in the position last season after Boli Bolingoli was dropped and has, as yet, failed to oust the Scotland cap from left-back. Taylor provided two assists for Celtic in yesterday's 5-1 mauling of Hamilton Accies at Parkhead.
Colina counts AS Monaco and Dinamo Zagreb among his former clubs. His contract at Split runs out in 2023.
