A HOUSEBREAKER caught in a young woman’s bedroom claimed he was in the wrong flat.
Robbie Hollywood had got into the property in Glasgow’s Hillhead via an unlocked window in September 2017.
The woman yelled on her flatmate and warned she was calling police.
But, Hollywood bizarrely stated: “I’m in the wrong flat - but how do I have the keys?”
The 28 year-old fled, but later snared due to his DNA at the scene.
Hollywood, of Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to housebreaking with intent to steal.
Edward Robertson, defending, said Hollywood had “no recollection” of being in the flat.
Sheriff Sean Murphy QC deferred for reports as bail was continued.
