A 34-year-old man has been arrested after a police officer was assaulted at a Tollcross incident yesterday evening.
Police were called to the scene at Tollcross Road at around 9.30pm after they received a report of a disturbance.
The 34-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences, including assaulting a police officer and breach of the peace, which took place on the evening of Monday, 10 August.
"He was expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today."
