A double-decker bus hit a railway bridge in Wishaw.
Officers cordoned off Glasgow Road after they rushed to scene around 11.40am.
The incident also affected train services going through Wishaw.
There were no reported injuries following the incident.

Train services have seen returned to normal as the bridge was allowed to reopen.
A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to a report of a double-decker bus colliding with a railway bridge near Glasgow Road, Wishaw around 11.40am this morning. There are no reports of any injuries and road diversions are in place.”
