COPS have locked down a block of flats in the city's East End after an incident.

A cordon was erected around the new builds on Tollcross Road near the Lidl supermarket today. Officers said they were called to nearby Dunira Street after receiving a report of damage to property.

Police tape was mounted at the entrance of the flats as an officer stood guard.

The force said their officers remain in the area and will be carrying out enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 9.10am on Friday, 21 August, officers were called to the Dunira Street area of Glasgow following a report of damage to a property.

"Officers remain in the area and are currently conducting door-to-door enquiries to establish the circumstances.”
