A man has died in hospital after he was seriously assaulted in a flat on Saturday morning.
Robert Cunningham, 29, was taken to hospital after being assaulted in a flat in Braehead Street in Kirkintilloch around 8am.
The 29-year-old from Kirkintilloch died on Monday, August 25.
Two men, aged 31 and 28, have been charged in connection with the death.

Detective Inspector Steven Watson, of Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Our thoughts are with Robert’s family and friends at this time.
“Following an investigation led by detectives, we were able to charge two men in connection with this incident.”
The two men are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
Another man, aged 35, has been arrested in connection with incident.
