A van can be seen submerged in water, as a new image show severe flooding at London Road.
The image shows the deep water flooding the busy road, as well as pedestrians climbing fences to escape the water.
One commenter said: "That's a shame for the people that stay there. Hope it gets cleared quick.
"People got enough to worry about never mind trying to get in and out of their homes."

A diversion has been put in place on the road since 5:30pm
Letting drivers know London Road is closed between Mauchinfauld Rd & Braidfauld St because of flooding. Diversions are in place. Take care out there in the rain. 🌧️ 🚗 ☔

Train services have been affected and roads have been blocked after heavy rainfall for most of the day in the city.
