STRICTLY signing JJ Chalmers will be hoping to follow in fellow Scot Joe McFadden’s footsteps when he takes to the dance floor this autumn.
The TV presenter and former Royal Marine, who received life-changing injuries in an explosion in Afghanistan which killed two of his colleagues, says taking part in the hit Saturday night show will be an “adventure”.
He said: “My whole life is defined by facing challenges, whether it’s becoming a Royal Marine Commando or competing in The Invictus Games.
“Strictly is a whole different ball game but I’m up for an adventure - and at least my mum will know where I am.”

Glaswegian actor Joe McFadden was the first Scottish winner when he took the 2017 title.
