A man was found injured after an attempted murder in the East End of Glasgow.
Cops have shut down Dalmarnock Road in the Bridgeton area of the city as they probe the incident
Emergency services were first called to the scene at 2.55am this morning.
The 31-year-old man is receiving treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Detectives are currently investigating the scene.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “Around 2.55am on Sunday, 6 September, police were called to a report of a man injured on Dalmarnock Road, near to Megan Street, Bridgeton. The 31 year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for his injuries.
“Detectives are currently carrying out enquiries in the area and the incident is being treated as attempted murder.
“Anyone with information that may assist the investigation should contact Shettleston Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 0609 of 6 September.”
