This year has officially become a mountain rescue team busiest after they attended their 39th call-out last night.
Two walkers were rescued from Ben Venue by the Lomond Mountain Rescue Team after the weather took a turn for the worst.
Persistent rain, which had much of Scotland on flood alert, caused the Leddard Burn to turn into a strong torrent.

The walkers had lost their way on their descent from the mountain.
In 2019, the team had 36 call-outs by mid-December.
Ian Dawson of the Lomond Mountain Rescue Team told the Glasgow Times this summer they expect to have several more emergencies before the end of the year.
"Summer has been very busy - bearing in mind we had no calls for about three months (approximately) during lockdown.
"We expect to have several more emergencies before the year's end."
A statement by the team read: "It’s officially our busiest year. Two walkers lost their way on the descent of Ben Venue in worsening weather as night fell.
"The evacuation route was on the far side of the Ledard Burn which had turned into a torrent - adding a complication to this evenings rescue."
Earlier on Saturday, the team helped trace a walker who became disorientated North of Ben Lomond around 4pm.
