COPS have revealed more than 200 bikes have been reported stolen in Glasgow's South Side.
Glasgow South East Police policing team said five people have now been charged in relation to seven alleged thefts.
The force said officers at Gorbals police office are urging bike owners to be vigilant as a series of bike marking events are underway.
More than 200 bikes were marked at an event on Saturday in Queen's Park Arena.
A second event is to be held this Saturday, September 19, from 10am until 20 at Pollokshields Primary School.
Cyclists can have their bicycles marked and registered to help prevent theft and increase chances of recovery.
