A man was tasered on a city centre street in connection with the possession of a bladed weapon.
Police raced to the scene on Union Street at around 8pm on Tuesday after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Officers deployed a taser on the 18-year-old suspect after fronting "behaviour" problems.
He was arrested and charged in connection to the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We received a report of a disturbance and a man in possession of a bladed article in Union Street, Glasgow, around 8pm on Tuesday, 15 September, 2020.
“Officers attended and due to the man's behavior, a taser was deployed.
“The man, 18, was conveyed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
“He was arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, 16 September, 2020.
“A report will be submitted to the Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC) as standard procedure following the deployment of a Taser."
