Nicola Sturgeon will give a television address to Scotland tonight after she makes the announcement on the new lockdown restrictions in Holyrood today.
The First Minister will announce the new rules to the Scottish Parliament at 2.20pm after a Cobra emergencies meeting with the UK Government this morning.
There will be no usual lunchtime 12.15pm briefing today.
She will then make a TV address at 8.05pm on the BBC tonight.
Restrictions across scotland are expected after concern has been growing about rising cases and mini lockdowns in Greater Glasogw and Lanarkshire.
