A MAN has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a pensioner in Springburn.
The 49-year-old is alleged to have pounced on an 80-year-old man at his home on Atlas Road on Friday.
The accused is due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court today and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 11am on Friday, 11 September, 2020, an 80-year-old man was the victim of a robbery at his home near Atlas Road, Springburn.
"A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 22 September, 2020.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
