A primary class and four members of staff at a South Side school are self-isolating after a coronavirus outbreak.
Test and protect teams are currently working to establish close contacts of those to have tested positive at Sandwood Primary School.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said the pupils and staff are now isolating "as a precaution", while there is no evidence of transmission of the virus within the school itself.
Those who have not been asked to isolate can continue to attend the school as normal.
She said: “The school has informed parents about the need for some pupils to self-isolate as a precaution on the advice of public health experts and will keep families updated with relevant information and reassurance of the robust health and safety procedures being adopted.”
