Emergency services have been called to the M8 in Glasgow after a car went up in flames.
The fire broke out after the car collided with the central barrier on the M8 eastbound off-slip at Junction 17 around 2.45pm.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the incident.
Dark smoke could be seen billowing from the M8 after the fire started nearby Charing Cross.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene around 2.50pm.
Transport Scotland confirmed the off-slip was fully closed due to the incidents, closing off access to Great Western Road and St George's Road.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called around 2.45pm on Sunday, 18 October, 2020, following the report of a car colliding with the central barrier on the M8 Eastbound at junction 17.
"Emergency services are currently in attendance and there are no details on injuries.
"The road is currently closed as well as both slip roads to Dumbarton Road and St George’s Cross."
