A PENSIONER was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing in Hamilton.
The 90-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries, according to the police.
Police are investigating the incident which occurred at around 9.30am today.

A police spokeswoman said: "Around 9.30am on Friday, November 13, officers received a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car on Leechlee Road, Hamilton.
“A 90-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
