A MAN was seriously injured after he was attacked in Maryhill.
Police are treating the incident, which took place on Friday, November 13 at around 8.15pm, as a serious assault.
The 23-year-old victim was taken from Garrioch Road to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious head injury.
Detective Sergeant Gillian Alexander, of Maryhill CID, said: “We are trying to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I am appealing to anyone in the area, or nearby streets, who may have seen something to come forward.

“There are a number of takeaways in the area and it would have been busy at that time of night. Also, if anyone was driving in the area and has dash-cam footage that may help with our enquiries, then please get in touch.
"If you can help please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3623 of Friday, November 13, 2020, or make a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
