A DRUG dealer caught with almost 10,000 street Valium tablets in his hall cupboard walked free from court on Monday.
Stephen McCue, 32, was arrested at his flat Springburn in January 2019.
Officers raided the property on Galloway Street and recovered the 19,918 tablets from poly bags and a jacket inside a hall cupboard.
Prosecutor Hannah Terrance told Glasgow Sheriff Court the wholesale value of the drugs was £2,370.
The maximum street value would be £8,000.
Miss Terrance also called for a confiscation order on a designer watch belonging to McCue.
Sheriff Stuart Reid ordered McCue to do 180 hours of unpaid work and tagged him for five months keeping him indoors between 8pm and 6am.
He will also be under supervision for two years.
