A TEENAGER has died after being found injured near a Glasgow university in the early hours of this morning.
The 18-year-old man was discovered in Rottenrow at around 1.50am and rushed to the Royal Infirmary. He died a short time later.
Police locked down Collins Street next to Strathclyde University and have launched a probe into the teenager's death.
Officers say they are currently treating it as unexplained.

Chief Inspector Craig Walker, Local Area Commander for Glasgow said: “Around 1.50am on Wednesday, 9 December, 2020 emergencies services were called to a report of a man found injured in Rottenrow, Glasgow.
"An 18-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment where he died a short time later. His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
