A WEST End woman is aiming to raise £300,000 in order to have potentially life-saving surgery in America.
Angela Gregory, 45, was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in 2018, with doctors giving her between a 5-10% chance of living five years after diagnosis.
After years of treatment and chemotherapy, Angela is now fundraising to help get specialist treatment in the USA, with hopes that the liver transplant surgery could save her life.

Angela said: "It was a struggle for a long time with doctors telling me that there was no way it was bowel cancer because I was too young.
"It's very important to me that young people are aware of the symptoms because it's so easy for it to go overlooked otherwise.
"Unfortunately, sometimes even doctors are wrong and I trusted my gut. I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, which doctors told me was "incurable" but I knew from there that I would push to get whatever treatment I could."
The liver transplant surgery, which is available in New York, is one that Angela, originally from Georgia, USA, is now pinning her hopes on.
She said: "I don't have medical insurance in America and so the bill is very expensive.
"We launched the Act4Angela website to help raise awareness of cancer in young people, but we are now fundraising through there too."
One way friends and family have been helping to raise money for Angela is by creating a song available for download.
Dylan McLean, 17, is the son of Angela's best friend.
The teenage singer-songwriter created 'We Will Go On' with his friend, Skye Watson, and his music teacher, Stefanie Chalmers, with all profits going towards Angela's fund.
Dylan said: "The song was very much inspired by Angela's journey and the words are for everyone who is going through something like this.
"The first time I played it to Angela she cried, she is so determined and strong, which is what the message of the song is about."
Another fundraiser, which will bring together Scottish comedians for a night of comedy, will take place this Saturday.
Comedian such as Chris Forbes, Fred MacAulay and Mark Nelson will take to the virtual stage in a benefit gig in Angela's honour.
Angela said: "It's a great line up and we really hope people are up for getting involved.
"Especially now when we can't get out, it's a cheap night in with some of the best Scottish comedians who have been so kind to do this for us.
Tickets for the Act4Angela 'You Gotta Laugh' comedy benefit, priced at £12.50, are available from act4angela.org, and Dylan's song can be found on all streaming sites and to buy on iTunes.
