Alfredo Morelos has not yet hit the heights this season with just three goals from 12 league games.

But the striker shared a defiant post on social media after his latest blank away to Dundee United yesterday afternoon. El Buffalo did not look like scoring at Tannadice and was replaced by Cedric Itten after going his seventh Premiership game without a goal.

Addressing his current form, the Colombian posted: "BE STRONG BECAUSE THINGS ARE GOING TO BETTER, MAYBE THERE IS A STORM NOW, BUT THE RAIN DOESN'T LAST FOREVER".

And fans were delighted with his never-say-die attitude, with the post racking up more than 18,500 likes in less than 24 hours.

Morelos, 24, has been a top player for the Ibrox outfit in recent seasons and has scored 84 goals in just under four seasons.

The player did spark some controversy in the Dundee United clash, however, when he led with an elbow and caught Mark Connolly in the face. He was booked for the challenge.
