The test positivity rate remained the same as the previous week.
There were a number of local areas in the city where the virus was at a level of between 0 and 2 positive cases, where it is considered suppressed.

The area with the highest level of cases in Glasgow was Darnley West, shown on the map as the darkest purple, which had 24 positive cases and a rate of more than 400 per 100,000 population.

The biggest category was where there were between 100 and 199 cases per 100,000. There were 59 areas in the city in that grouping shown as the third darkest on the map.
The latest daily update for Scotland showed there had been 1504 new positive cases recorded.
Nicola Sturgeon said it was thought there was backlog in processing tests, which in part led to the increased number.
There were 1,078 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus, up 17 in 24 hours.
No deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours of someone who had tested positive.
Ms Sturgeon said, the lockdown is designed prevent the new variant spreading.
She said: “If we do nothing now, we are likely to see more new infections in Scotland as a result of this variant - placing an even greater strain on our health service, and leading to more deaths.
“But as things stand, with our lower prevalence in a relative sense, we still have a chance of keeping this situation under control while the vaccination programme continues - and while we get case numbers back to very low levels again.”
