The filming of BBC drama Guilt is set to take place in Glasgow despite a lockdown enforced in Scotland.
From tomorrow, roads across the city may face closure to allow for filming over the next three weeks.
The new series is set to air on BBC Two and BBC Scotland later this year.
It is two year after the finale of the first series starring Mark Bonnar and Jamie Sives.
Former Lord Provost of Glasgow Alex Mosson questioned why filming was allowed to fo ahead when people are advised to stay at home.
He told the Daily Record: "Why is it all right for actors and cameramen allowed to go to their work and walk about the streets and cause inconvenience on a huge scale like this?
"Frankly, it beggars belief the city council should allow this to go ahead.”
A spokesman for Glasgow City Council said: “Filming is allowed under Scottish Government guidance, and it is the responsibility of production companies to ensure social distancing is practised during this time.”
