THE family of a murdered teenager paid tribute to their son and brother as a man was convicted for his murder.

Liam Hendry's dad William and mum Margaret stood outside Glasgow High Court today as the 18-year-old's big brother Marc read a statement on their behalf.

Alongside the teenager's other brother, Paul, the four have been in court every day to hear evidence given as two men were accused of causing Liam's death.

His broken hearted parents were praised for their "quiet dignity" by Judge Lord Arthurson.

They criticised what they say as the apparent lack of remorse of Dean Wright and Robert Farrell, the two men accused of their son killing.

Today at the High Court, Wright was convicted for murder while Farrell was acquitted of the crime and walked free.

William and Margaret said: "Over the course of the trial we had to witness both accused fist bump each other every day without remorse.

"Liam was an innocent young boy who was deliberately targeted as he stood on the pavement by an evil killer who had no idea who he was using a van as a weapon.

"There is no sentence long enough for the wicked, evil act that human inflicted on our beautiful loving son and brother.

"We are the ones with the life sentence.

"The heartbreak that has been inflicted on us has been devastating throughout the whole family and his many friends.

"There really is no words to describe our life now without Liam."
