POLICE have recovered the body of a man from a canal in Clydebank.
Emergency services were called were called to the Forth and Clyde Canal near Strauss Avenue around 12.05pm on Tuesday.
Police said the identity of the man had not been confirmed but they had informed the family of James Coyle, who has been missing since November, about the recovery.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and a post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
"Police are treating the death as unexplained in the meantime.
"The family of James Coyle, who has been missing since November 29, has been made aware of the discovery."
