An inmate has died in prison.
Barry Watson, 42, who was a prisoner at Barlinnie in Riddrie in the city’s East End has died, the Scottish Prison Service has confirmed.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) revealed Watson was convicted at Glasgow Sheriff Court in 2019.

A Fatal Accident Inquiry into the death under custody will be held "in due course"
An SPS spokesman said: "Barry Watson, 42, a prisoner from HMP Barlinnie has died.
"He was convicted at Glasgow Sheriff Court in 2019.
"Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
