Ally McCoist has slammed Alfredo Morelos after he appeared to stamp on Ryan Porteous during last night's Hibernian vs Rangers clash.
Morelos was the difference between the two sides as he netted his 11th goal of the season just after half-time to move Steven Gerrard’s team within eight wins of their Premiership crown.
But following the game Easter Road boss Jack Ross claimed the Colombian should have seen red for the earlier incident and Gers hero McCoist is in agreement.
On talkSPORT this morning, he said: “I can’t give you an answer, I have no idea. It is so frustrating, he just doesn’t learn. He took his goal well enough but he just can’t help himself."
Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd also thought Morelos should have seen red.
He added: "It’s a red card. There is no getting away from it.
"I just don't understand. It was the exact same at Tannadice. He has got away with one.
"Kevin Clancy has a great view of it there. I just don't understand why he needs to do it.
"People can tell me he is trying to get out the road of him. But he's not, you can see it right there. He's very lucky to still be on this pitch."
