STAGECOACH is adapting its bus timetable for the Glasgow to Ayr service.
From Monday, the X77 will now operate every hour during off-peak hours, with adjustments to some early peak and evening services.
This is due to a reduced demand for bus services in line with ongoing travel restrictions in place across Scotland.
Fiona Doherty, managing director of Stagecoach West Scotland, said: “During these challenging times, we know how important continued availability of transport is to local communities and key workers across the west of Scotland.

“With demand for bus services reduced due to current travel restrictions across Scotland, we have adapted our timetables for some routes.
“By introducing these timetable changes, we have been able to preserve essential routes for key sector employees such as healthcare staff, to get to continue to get to work safely.
“We want local passengers to know that we will continue to provide lifeline transport options for key workers to get across the west of Scotland.”
