A WOMAN was left with a serious facial injury after an incident in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to a report of a disturbance and found a woman in Lomond Gardens, Elderslie seriously hurt.
The 27-year-old was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment and has since been discharged.

Officers are investigating the incident but it is not yet known how she came to be harmed.
A spokesman for the force said: "Around 2.05 am on Sunday, February 7, 2021, police were called to a disturbance in Lomond Gardens, Elderslie, in which a 27-year-old woman sustained a serious facial injury.
"She was treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and has since been discharged.
"Enquiries into the incident are continuing.
