Glasgow has become the illegal house party capital of Scotland, with revelers snapping-up rental properties to host gatherings.
Data published by Police Scotland has revealed officers attended the highest number of call-outs to illegal parties than any other area of Scotland.
Since coronavirus legislation was introduced on August 23 last year, Greater Glasgow Police Division has been alerted to almost 5000 parties within the area.

The North West was revealed to attract the highest number of callouts - with officers shutting down 223 parties between August 23 and January 8. Glasgow East saw 146 call-outs during the same period.
Meanwhile in September, police were called a particularly higher number of gatherings as the force dished out 150 fines in just one week.
Despite the 'Stay at Home' guidance, information obtained by BBC Scotland has revealed police Operation Talla shut down a total of 120 student parties in Glasgow during one weekend in December.
Data obtained by the broadcaster has also revealed that online booking sites, including booking.com, were used by partygoers to hire space for large-scale gatherings over the festive period. On one occasion, police shut down a party of 20 people using rented property space during the Christmas weekend.

Assistant Chief Constable Alan Speirs said: "The vast majority of the public have continued to comply with the regulations.
"Parties and indoor gatherings of different households are not permitted and we will continue to use our enforcement powers to disperse large groups of people where necessary.
"Policing during the pandemic has always been challenging and it remains so."
