STORM Darcy has arrived in Glasgow, with blankets of snow hitting the city overnight.
Glaswegians have been revelling in the inches of snowfall, with residents transforming roads and streets into slopes for sledging.
Keen snowsport enthusiasts have also been spotted donning skis and snowboards as they have taken to steep hills and roads across Glasgow to show off their skills.
Meanwhile, a number of key bus routes have been cancelled due to the harsh elements.
A yellow weather warning will remain in place tomorrow until 11.59pm.
Subzero temperatures will stretch across the whole day on Wednesday with sunny intervals in place between 9am and 4pm.
The Met Office has warned residents to expect travel delays on rail and road, with travel cancellations likely to happen.
The forecaster has urged residents to take caution on untreated roads and surfaces.
